About
Country Hills Golf Club is a member-owned golf course in Calgary, Alberta, operating two 18-hole layouts, the Ridge Course and the Talons Course, the latter designed by Thomas McBroom. The club's 36,000 square foot clubhouse, completed in 1999, houses locker rooms with steam rooms, two dining venues, banquet and event space, and the Nest Fitting Centre, a club fitting operation run in partnership with Modern Golf. PGA Canada golf professionals are on staff to provide golf lessons and instructional programs for members, alongside a pro shop offering equipment and apparel. As a not-for-profit equity club, Country Hills organizes its membership around shared access to both courses and the practice facilities. The club is open seasonally, with the pro shop operating from an hour before the first tee time until dusk and administrative offices staffed Monday through Friday.
