The Union League of Philadelphia is a historic city club founded in 1862 as a patriotic society to support the Union and the policies of President Abraham Lincoln. It has been voted the #1 City Club in the Country for seven consecutive cycles (2012–2024). The League has hosted U.S. presidents, heads of state, and dignitaries from around the globe, and continues to be guided by its founding motto, "Amor Patriae Ducit" (Love of Country Leads).
