Kevin Abel

Kevin Abel is the Clinical Director and Head Physiotherapist at Athletica Health Physiotherapy in York, England. Originally from the northwest of Ireland, he holds an MSc, is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP), and is an APPI Pilates instructor. Abel has spent 15 years working in professional sport, treating Premiership footballers, All Blacks rugby players, world champions, and Olympians. At Athletica Health, he treats sports injuries, spinal and peripheral joint conditions, and post-surgery rehabilitation, with additional expertise in pediatric sports injuries, acupuncture and dry needling, and clinical Pilates. His approach emphasizes helping clients understand and manage their own conditions so they can return to the activities they love.
